Electrical Engineer

Qualification and Experience:
Candidate must be a B Eng/ BSc Eng degree in Electrical Engineering   Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the consulting industry or similar capacity   Professional registration with ECSA is an added advantage   Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD or related software   Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

Assist to manage the Electrical Department   Responsible for designing of primary and secondary plant equipment   Report weekly followed by monthly to the Managing Director   Sit for the strategic planning with the directors of the company   Prepare tender documents and produce bill of quantities   Produce Telemetry-SCADA Master Plan   Produce standard operating procedures   Review and update of asset management plan   Review and update of earthing system   Testing of switchgear network grading   Produce low voltage master plans   Supervise projects on site   Produce electrical distribution network design   Produce drawings and compile reports for Preliminary Design and Detailed Design project stages   Produce Tender and construction drawings   Sign Tender and construction drawings   Liaise with project stakeholders   Mentor junior Electrical Engineers of the client as and when required

Remuneration:
Negotiable and based on the candidates qualifications and years of experience.
